Qi the sign of interoperability
Established in December 2008, the Wireless Power Consortiums mission is to establish Qi as the global standard for powering rechargeable electronic products.
Qi is pronounced chee and means vital energy. Qi is fully compatible, so any phone or other device carrying the logo will work with any charging surface that carries the logo, regardless of manufacturer or brand. Qi charging surfaces can easily be embedded in automobiles, furniture, and countertops, making it simple to charge devices wherever you go.
